Swan Lake is believed to be one of the greatest classical music ballets of all time. Its romance and beauty has allowed the classic ballet to mesmerize audiences for more than 100 years.

Attuned to the magnificent music of Tchaikovsky, Queensland Ballet Principal Guest Conductor, Andrew  Mogrelia together with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s and choreographer   Francois Klaus , the splendid interpretation of this classic ballet pays respect to its rich choreographic tradition,  and records an epic story of devotion and betrayal with its extravagant sets, colorful costumes and thrilling dance.

Swan Lake was fashioned from Russian folk tales and it’s about the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse.

This is presented to you by Queensland Ballet in association with Hyundai Motor Company, Australia.
