Brisbane Update: The V8 Supercars Series 2011 is About to Race

One of the most awaited event in the Gold Coast is about to race!

The Gold Coast annual motor racing carnival has been scheduled on October 21-23, 2011 which will definitely showcase the excitement and adrenaline of Australia's V8 Supercars with the participation of foreign talents.

The V8 Supercars will race in the Gold Coast 600 competition for over three days following last year's introduction of the radical new endurance race with 18 world-class international drivers.

2011 is the 20th year that the Gold Coast will be hosting the motoring spectacular, with the event annually attracting thousands of visitors who revel in the action, both on and off track.

The headline acts at this year's Armor All Gold Coast 600 include ARIA Award winning Sydney Hip Hop sensation Bliss N Eso who will be performing for two nights at the anticipated October event.

The popular trio will also be joined by other huge names such as Drapht, The Potbelleez, Bag Raiders, Tonite Only and Illy in the Friday night component of the 600 Sounds Festival at Broadwater Parklands.

Legendary rock acts namely the Hoodoo Gurus, Eskimo Joe and Masters Appretices will blast out some homegrown hits at the Saturday night concert before famous Scottish band Simple Minds close the show.
